From the appraisal document: A rocky outcropping is visible on the left and right connected by a wooden bridge. The waterway below with boats and a village scene adjacent to the water and also on the mountaintop. The colors are rich blues, rose and green with gray rocks. The moon is visible in the upper left. Update 2020: Original created in the Edo period "Monkey Bridge in Moonlight" by Katsushika Taito II, in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and others. This reproduction is believed to be made in ca. 1930s
