From the appraisal document: The right panel of a diptych of the mid-19th century illustrating a woman playing a musical instrument, she's pressing the strings near the top. Much calligraphy is seen on right but no identification can be made at this time. The colors are strong in deep blue with rose trim and soft blue background.
